Connecting external 2x12 cab to F 50 combo amp

well the cab arrived today. I was a little off about the ohms. It has a 16 ohm mono jack and a 4 ohmn mono jack. To run it in stereo you need to run two cables. There are two 8 ohmn jack for it, one for each speaker. Would that be okay to run into the two 4 ohmn jacks on my f50? Right now...

Connecting external 2x12 cab to F 50 combo amp

another question. Okay now I realize that the genz benz runs 4 or 16 ohms mono or 8 ohms / side stereo. If I don't want it stereo how could I run it with the combo cab? Also, do any of you like to run your cabs stereo?

Pulling out power tube for less wattage?

Hi, I have a mesa boogie F50 combo amp. I have heard of people pulling out a power tube to lessen the wattage. Does that work without messing anything up? Could someone tell me about it? Is it safe to do? Anything else you need to do? THanks.

212 cab for my Mesa F50

I've decided to get a cab for my f50 after being approved on a musicians friend platinum card with a 700 limit. I play extreme metal in b tuning. I'll be using this for recording mainly. I want to get a 2x12 cab in the 700 price range. They don't carry mesa at MF so that's out. I was...

    Roadster rhythm tone - help!

well it's really not for extra gain but for the other reasons i've mentioned. It does a great job of tightening up amps and adding clarity. This trick has been used on many modern recordings. Worth giving it a shot anyways. An eq in the loop is also nice to have. I usually add some bass...

    Roadster rhythm tone - help!

You should try putting a tubescreamer pedal in front of the amp. Put the gain all the way down and the level all the way(or most of the way) up with the tone knob in the middle or maybe slightly to the left. This tightens up the amp a lot. It'll get rid of the flubbiness and give you more...
