I guess the question is how would you be using a BB on a mark 3?...both my mark three's have so much gain on tap there's no use for a pedal save for maybe the clean channel is that what you mean?otherwise if your mark 3 doesn't have enough gain, you should have it checked out.

Glad to hear that he is happy w/ the 395..I wouldve bought one too, but found the 500 first, so I moved on it...It definitely sounds better than the vht 2 50, and 2 90 2...maybe not so much as compared to the 2150 and classic though.

Like everyone else said,wood over plastic any day...if you live where I do and it gets down to 20 below(even on one day that you haul it outside),ive seen plastic racks shatter and bust apart..ive used mesa's shockmouints forever-no issues.....bummer though- they dont still make em.

I like the horizontals too..but I mainly use Diezels 2x12s...they just crush anyway you like it.

On your comment of quad output-mono to g-force input mono,..There are a few more ways of making things even more interesting in the stereo spread..If you have an early version quad,the output a and b will sound different(due to its ch a and b tone knobs working differently).Mesa designed it that...
