    Lonestar comparable to a Fender super reverb or vibroverb?

    I think of the LS Classic as a Twin on steroids. The Super Reverb is a 40-watt amp, so it will break up at a reasonable volume when turn it up past 4 or so. The LSC, like a Twin, at 100 watts has a lot of clean headroom.

    This is exactly what I'm struggling with as I get closer to my EPD "estimed purchase date". :-) I like the idea of a 30 watt Class A Boogie, but I also need a lot of clean headroom at times. I will probably go with the LS Classic, which to my mind is like a Twin Reverb on steroids.

    I'm not sure how you can say that. There is a HUGE difference in clean headroom between a 30w Class A amp and a 100W Class A/B. The perception of that difference may not be apparent depending on your playing situation. I know the Classic will give me what I want, but I'd love to have the...

    Actually, the Pro Reverb puts out around 40W. I use one.
