It seems I have a dud tube in my V4 (Lead 2). I just retubed my 2:90 and wonder if I can use one of the preamp tubes I took out in my V4 for a few days until my new replacements get here. I certainly don't want to mess it up and will wait if it might cause it harm. Thanx all.

I am on both the Triaxis and FCb1010 forums. All I want to do is have gmajor presets matched with a Triaxis preset by MIDI. Is it easy to like the gmajor and triaxis to be on the same page like this?

So if I am running my gmajor thru the FX loop then BOTH of the outputs on the Triaxis need to feed so something to avoid trouble? I am only running MONO so I have a send to the gmajor to one return coming out of one output to my 2:90

I started playing around with the cable not connected to the voicing. LD1 channels cut right out an when they do the other channels have a hum in the background.

**Figured out the prob...bad tube....I just replaced all the tubes in my 2:90....can I use one of the mesa preamp tubes frmo the 2:90 and use it in one place of the Triaxis (there are JJs in there now from Eurotubes)? From what I have diagnosed this only seems to happen when the 2:90s voicing...

I saw your post on the melting cables and I found my answer buried in there. The Mesa manual also doesnt tell you what jack from the triaxis goes with what on the 2:90 (modern,deep,half). I am not sure if it matters.....im guessing 1-3 on the Triaxis are for the swtiching just not sure what one...

The unshielded cables to switch the modes on the 2:90 should be speakers cables correct? Is there damage that can occur if instrument cables are used?
