    BBE Sonic maximizer w/Triaxis?

I'm not sure that thump is possible with the 20/20. You may have to bite the bullet and go for a 2:Ninety, but at least then you can run 4 4x12 cabs! 8) -dave

The Spirit of Art in Technology (Mark 2 See Beyond)

Wow, they sure do pack that chassis! But are those 1/4" jacks PCB mounted? I thought they didn't do that at Boogie to protect the board? -dave

    Detuned ext. cab

That's a cool thought...my recto cabs are probably too deep to try it though. I've been experimenting with my LSC through my different cabs recently too, and wow does a well worn Traditional 4x12 really open it up! I guess I'm just not a fan of C90s. Now if only I can get that short headshell...

    Lonestar hum

Have you tried swapping tubes? Especially if they were shipped from the seller on EBay! I've never had tubes arrive alive in an amp that was shipped. -dave

    gcx question

Is everything grounded properly? How slight are we talking? -dave

    recto- traditional cabs.

I'm a big fan of the Traditional straight front cabs. They have that sweet midrange and the tight bass with the highs that aren't too shrill. Traditional 4x12 and a Mark? Heaven! -dave

Any info on when a new Triaxis will come out? If ever?

Not soon enough, that's for sure! I love mine, but I wish it had a real Recto voice and a not-so-80s interface. -dave

Lifting Shadows Off a Dream (DT Cover) - Mark IV used.

That was freakin sweet! Nice work man! Lookin forward to the next one! -dave

So, I got my Mark IV in the mail....

Amen! I've never had an amp arrive in the mail that didn't have power tubes falling/fallen out of their sockets! And that's with 4 different carriers! -dave

What is that PRS on the far left? I think that's the most beautiful one I've ever seen! -dave

Lonestar Classic Custom Made Head Shell

That looks pretty freakin sweet man! I've been wanting a short shell for my LSC for a while now. Is yours a little bit taller than a stock one? And did your combo reverb tank fit? -dave

    "modern" switch on the 2:90

Modern makes the power section have more of a ballsy aggressive Recto kind of voice. I like it, I run most of my patches with both deep and modern. As far as Simulclass, I think that's part of what gives Boogies that vocal midrangey quality. I'd suggest you borrow or test drive one and try it...

    Got the call.

All that means is some crafty individual like me will be in your local Boogie dealer going "Yeah, I'm danyeo1, I'm here to pick up my Mark 5!" 8) -dave

WTB/WTT Lonestar short head/1x12 combo shell

    Bump...anybody got anything?

    Effects in the FX Loop

I haven't had any problems with it, but it works the best if you play a the cleanest muted clack kind of sound you can get in the current patch. I love my Nova Delay, it's so much cleaner sounding, easier to use, and versatile than that stupid green Line 6 you see everywhere. -dave

    Triaxis questions

Well, you'll find more answers in the Rack section, but that's ok. I have the TriAxis/2:Ninety combo and I love it. The only thing mine doesn't do convincingly is the Recto sound, but I hear some do if they have the right revision of Lead 1 Red. As far as Mark series tone, heck yes, you'll be in...

    G-Force vs G-Major

I love my G-Major. Really transparent, great sounding effects that are as simple or as complicated as you want them to be. Makes a great all in one unit. [a big bonus is the 3 band fully parametric EQ!] -dave

Adding a POD XT PRO to my current setup

I don't know if you're gonna gain much by adding it to your setup, honestly. If you pick up something like a GCX switcher you could integrate it and use it as a second preamp, but those huge tones you describe should be in the gear you already have. I think the effects sound better in the...
