Guitar Center has tons of Mesa 4x12's for under $500 each. Not sure why anyone in this day would want to look like Slayer with tons of cabs, but..... You could buy the cabs and sell the speakers. Probably cheaper that way.

Problem is, I live in Hawaii. It would cost $200 each way to ship the amp. I might just have to dissect it and replace some parts with higher quality ones. Some of the wiring should be shielded as well and it's not. It's a great sounding amp, just noisy as hell.

I don't have any way to record unfortunately. The Archon does not have the noise if I keep the gain below noon, but where is the fun in that........

You could try replacing R47 (100k resistor) with a 100k or 250k pot. R47 is in series with the signal going into the Solo pot. Not sure it would work, it may cause weird issues, might work perfectly!
