I stand corrected. It was V4 that I tried the 12AT7 in. I didn't try vV6 because I didn't want to mess with channels 1 & 2. I need to order some less noisy AT7's and give it another shot.

So far, I'm really impressed with how good it sounds at low to medium volumes! I love my old DC-3 but it is freakishly loud and I just can't use it for small gigs unless I have something in the Loop that can limit the volume. The V doesn't seem to have this problem at all. Can't wait to open...
