I just picked up a 4x10 Maverick combo on Reverb! I haven't had a Mav in a long time, and have never had the 4x10. I thought about an LSS, but prices are crazy! Now that I live on the Mainland again, shipping is affordable. I could never have gotten a 4x10 combo shipped to Hawaii!

You might try a patch cable from the Send to the Return jack on the FX Loop. Chances are, the loop has been converted to Series (it is Parallel in it's stock form).

I see them pop up on eBay from time to time. Also, Mercury Magnetics carries a lot of replacement transformers for Mesa amps.

Not sure if you got this figured out, but try placing a pedal board patch cable from the Send to the Return jacks in the FX Loop.
