I have a Triple Recto head and a just recently bought a recto 2x12 cab and when I palm mute with high gain and high bass tones something starts to rattle. Has anyone ever had this problem? I was thinking that it might be the tubes rattling in the head but i cant really tell and I dont live in...

i changed the fuse and the tubes lit up fine and everything works great lol. kinda werid but im guessing the fuse might of been on its way out before because of the old rectifier before fucking it up.

This may be a stupid question but how do you take out the fuse?

I just bought 3 new 5u4gb replacement rectifiers, 4 matched Groove tube gt 6l6c and 2 Groove tube gt 6l6D (the guy said it would be ok if i mixed them in since they didnt have the the 6l6c. Does groove tube make power tubes for the mesa? and if so are they good/worth it?

Alright cool thnx guys. I'll probably try those JJ rectifiers you mentioned. Might as well change the power tubes while I'm at it. What kind would you recommend for the power tubes?

Ok so what I ment to say is that one of the rectifiers have a flashing blue light when i put it off standby. i got the tubes mixed up.

So I should get 3 new 5u4g power tubes? Whats a good brand on a website that will ship really fast lol ?

I just got a Triple rectifier and everything is sounding dead on it. The new head I played at guitar center sounded so much better, so I'm thinking maybe changing the tubes will help. Any recommended tubes for a hard rock sound (Mark tremonti-like)? It has JJ 6L6 gc right now.

I cant seem to get a good tone out of this thing :/. I'm looking for a modern rock setting but it always just sounds really trebly not matter what. Anyone have any good settings for channel 2 or 3. It came with JJ 6L6 GC Tubes. Ps. Im using a marshall 1960b cab and a Schecter c-1xxx.

Hey I'm new to this board but anyway I just purchased a Triple rectifier on ebay and I need a footswitch. Does anyone make generic brand footswitches for this head or is anyone selling one for cheap? thanks
