I would agree to a point, the clean on the ace with the loop off is as close as I've ever heard to the mark I, It doesn't seem to like pedals that much though, the distortion is definitely aimed and at the hard rock camp. But **** is it sweet.

I just bought the ace, I really thought I would miss the reverb, but after and hour playing it I didn't miss it at all, it's weird with if you switch off the loop, the sound is so pristine and clear it seem to have a kind of reverb on it's own, I can't describe it.

I tried them both the Ace crushes the lonestar. I bought the head/ cab.

I tried the combo and the head cab option, mine has noticable tighter and more alive sounding, don't know why but it was. Plus the combo is heavy as F%$& Ed

I thinking of up gradeing my F-50 to a Lonestar can you give me some input, I run my gain About 2/3's up and I don't use the conture on the f-50. Will the Lonestar give me the same type of clean and dirty tones as my f-50???? Any opinion on if it's better or worse sounding that the lonestar???

I have a question on my brand new mark 1 re-issue. Can I run on both the 60 watt switch and the tweed switch together??? If so where do I plug in the internal speaker at the 8 or 4 ohm jack?? Thanks Ed
