WORD on the volume leap. I too thought about this mod but the volume jump is just too mind blowing of a difference to do it. That said, many have had great luck with boosters. I personally use the MXR CAE MC-401 and love it. Gives it a nice push and really breaks up nicely. Cheers.

Hey there, I have a brand new Stiletto /Recto Traditional 4x12 cab with casters and a slip cover and all paperwork /tags. I also have a 2x12 vertical with casters. I am thinking about getting rid of one. I live near Natick. PM me if you're interested.

DC-5 Checking in here. Have the combo with the C-90 in it and agree with you on your opinion of them. I unplugged the internal speaker and have used either a Mesa Stiletto 4x12 or a vertical 2x12 recto cab, all of which have v30's in them and I have never looked back. Hope this helps.
