hmmikey: Since it sounds like you are coming from a Twin, how do you compare the clean sound between the two. It is difficult to beat a Twin's clean sound and I still play a lot of music like Hank Marvin etc vintage clean and wonder if you feel you lost anything.

The PRSs are beautiful with or without the bolt on neck. What you need to determine is whether you like a wide fat neck, a wide thin neck, or a regular neck, since since different models have different neck availability. To stay close to $1,000 I would look at a used CE 22 or 24, or a used...
