    Wet/dry when using loop ...

I was trying some things yesterday and pulled the return cord of the loop out of the MKV and put it into my Fishman Artist since I was using a piezo guitar, just to hear the sound using my delay and reverb. Before I turned on the Artist I noticed that the dry sound was still coming out of the...

FS: Mesa Boogie 1X12 ported widebody ported cabinet - SOLD

For sale is my Mesa widebody 1X12 ported cabinet. It matches with the Mark V. The cabinet has a C90 and comes in the original box. I bought the cabinet in the fall of 2009 and it has never played out, or even left my basement, The Boogie logo is on the front to match the Mark V. The cabinet...

Compare 1x12 Wide Body to ???

I have a Mark V combo with the widebody Thiele cabinet. At low volumes it doesn't really sound much like a Thiele, but as the volume goes up the bass becomes more apparent. It's a great combination.

Anyone Use Mesa 3/4 1x12 with Mark V for METAL?

You might want to consider the Compact 23" 1X12 closed back ported cabinet. I will put my Mark V Combo on top of it. http://www.mesaboogie.com/Product_Info/Guitar%20Cabinets/COMPACTcabs/Widebody-ClosedBack-1x12-LG.htm

    Mark V owners

Give it some time to break in a bit, as said above. The Mark V is not as bass heavy as some other Boogies, and it has an open back. It is much tighter and I have not felt the need to dial back the bass as on some other models ... but that's just my preference. Put an Express 23"...

    Mark V problems ...

I'm close to buying a Mark V, just finished scanning through a dozen pages here, and am surprised by the number of problems people are having with the amp. My dealer is two hours away. I view amp warrantys like car warrantys ... They are great to have, but I don't want to need to use it...

Has anyone replaced their tubes and/or switched to EL34's?

How many watts would the ED put out with EL34s?

    Best Low Volume Clean Tone

Just for headroom, I would go for the 5:50 over the 5:25. Definately get the 12" speaker. ED would be my first choice of a Boogie. There are many other great clean amps though ...

Express 5:50 2x12 needs more articulation, any suggestions?

I had an Express 5:50 2X12 and had the same problem. The bottom end can be very overpowering and muddy. The quickest cure is to run the bass knob at about 9 o'clock. That will help a lot. The LSC had the same issue. I play mostly clean and wanted a very tight muted bass sound, and it is...

Just went to GC, have some questions

When you demo the 5:50, leave the bass at about 9 o'clock ... that's all you'll need.

Rivera venus wins over the Lonestar special

Over the last year I have had both an Express 5:50 2X12 and an LSC & 2X12 cab. Now I use a Rivera Clubster 25 Doce ... a great bang for the buck 6V6 amp.
