I am trying to find a hardwood thiele with wicker grill to match my hardwood mk4a. It seems I'm hard pressed to find one so may need to look at having a "clone" made up. Unfortunately GTS doesn't do hardwood, any one else to try?

Hi Ian, I'm in Auckland but haven't been getting much gig time since I have two young (3&4) children :/ I too have been surprised at the lack of Boogies seen on stage here, other than dual rectifiers (which I do not like!)

I replaced the caps in my Mk IVa combo recently, and it made a huge difference to the white noise/hum (from annoying to zero!) I understand the basic rule is 10 years, but if the amp is left unused for a lengthy period of time then that dries the caps out faster. It wasn't an expensive...

I love my TC Electronics G System. It runs 4 cable method (I also run it in stereo thru a second Mark IVa... yes I love my Marks). It runs midi if needed, but also it has switching so it can control my Mark IV preamp channels. And its built like a tank.
