Tightening the loose bottom end of a 3 channell recto 101.

I agree. I never understood why people who can afford any Mesa, would then buy a bunch of pedals to color and alter their sound. There are so many amps out there to choose from that can get you close to the tones you desire. To each their own of course, if using an EQ and some pedals are...

Road King II vs Dual Rectifier

Hey: I think you'll notice that the Road King is a lot darker and smoother than the Dual Recs. I have a Roadster, which is essentially the Road King, minus the Progressive Linkage and I noticed the same thing. I use all EL 34s in my Roadster now, but I noticed that the manual settings (for...

Roadster can get pretty good crunch...

CRAP! I forgot to flip the bias switch!

Stupid me, put in EL34s and forgot to flip the switch. Seriously, how much damage could I have caused my amp? I didn't even play it at bedroom levels -- just more of an audible whisper. It sounds fine, but man am I scared! What do you all think? I am sure I am not the only forgetful *******...

CRAP! I forgot to flip the bias switch!

I forgot to flip the switch when I put in the EL34s. I was playing at barely bedroom volume, for about 20 minutes. What are the chances I messed my amp up? I am very, very scared. Everything sounds fine...
