    Any .50 Caliber clips?

http://www.commatheband.com/comma/mu_s_ic.html All songs recorded with my .50 Caliber + (6L6/EQ/EVM-12L)... "Truly Sorry" is probably the best example of the versatility; the breakup for the intro/verse riff, then the screaming distro for the chorus...we had the option to borrow a Matchless...

COMMA (Boston) band...T.T. The Bear's WEd. March 5th!

www.commatheband.com We're an all Mesa/Boogie (3 piece rock band) in fact...well, except for the drummer ;) A gracefully aging .50 Caliber + for the guitar, and a Nomad 100 Head thru some 4x10 for bass...sounds wicked! Hit some of the mp3s, all the guitars were recorded with Boogies! "Truly...

    .50 Caliber Sound clips?

go to www.commatheband.com ALL done on my .50 Caliber + combo with 6L6/EVM-12L/EQ and some NOS tubes. Hardly any processing at all. Recorded at a "pro" studio through a Neve console with some pricey mics and Apogee converters. The song that really displays how rad this amp sounds is called...

    Marshall 1960B 4x12 Cab $400

I'm selling this (along with my Mesa .50 Cal + combo) just 'cos I'm feeling like something different. This really sounded great with the .50 Cal. Quite amazing how it opened it up. I often used both the cab along with the EVM-12L for a really full sound. Handles 300 Watts, equipped w/...

    .50 Caliber + 1x12 Combo(6L6/EVM-12L/EQ/Lead Master) SOLD

I really almost hate to put this up for sale...but as the "gear game" goes round, I have my eye on something else. I really love this amp...glassy cleans, unrivaled blues breakup, and ridiculous distortion. I know these are becoming more rare and increasing in value (still very reasonable for...

yellow jackets for .50 Cal + anyone?

cool guys... thanks on the info./experiences stomper & fxrs. yeah, I've been diggin' the lower watt EL84 stuff really hard lately. I love the .50 Cal+, and as stomper suggested, would like the option of switching them in & out for recording etc. I was playing a through a Dual Rect Maverick...

Adding a gain control to .50 caliber?

check out this thread: http://forum.grailtone.com/viewtopic.php?t=20415 It's about the studio .22+ but I think someone states that they did this to their .50 Cal. If not there, I know for sure I read about a dude on Harmony Central that did it. Seems really simple, and I believe the schems...

    CALIBER 50 +

lol! :D Made my head spin, but thanks! Yes you are correct sir! It's a 16 (4) ohm cab, and I run it from the 4 ohm out from the .50 Cal combo. I pretty much knew the math was on, but was concerned about folks a bit up on the thread saying you ought not to run multiple outs. It's working...

    CALIBER 50 +

I've got the .50 Cal+ 1x12 (6L6/EVM-12L) combo and dig it tons, although it can be limiting. This month started using STR-440 power tubes at the advice of my tech. They do sound really good. I've used EHX and Sovtek before that. STR-440s sound best of the 3...Sovtek pretty good, EHX blah...

wish the Mark IV had a tube rect option

http://www.torresengineering.com/addtubrectoy.html I've been thinking the same...replacing the SS rectifier with a tube for my .50 Cal +. I stumbled on this kit googling. Looks easy enough...

Adding a gain control to .50 caliber?

+1! While my .50 Cal+ combo is one of my faves and likely not going anywhere, this is something that bugs me. I'd definitely be interested in finding out more about this too.

Post your .50 Caliber serial numbers!!!

    I have a .50 Cal + combo... Serial # FP20141 The serial # on the EVM-12L indicates it's from 87. Maybe that helps?

yellow jackets for .50 Cal + anyone?

Hey all, First post... I have a 50. Cal + combo w/ EVM-12L/6L6s. Though I dig the tone a lot, I was wondering if anyone has tried the yellow jacket 6L6 to EL84 converters? I'd like to be able to cut down on power ouptut and go class A/EL84; mostly for recording, though also just for some...

    WTB: NOMAD 45...Head or Combo

I now own a .+50 Caliber + w/ a EVM-12L speaker...I've had it for about a year & a half...I dig it tons, and for recording it's insane! I used to have a Nomad 45 combo, and had to sell it for rent or something at the time... I miss it bad! What I really need is the 3 independant...
