Thnks for the replies. I think the lead channel needs brightening a little and the reverb could be a little more "up front" but overall it's a really good sounding amp. My Mark 5-25 has all the tones sorted out but it also has some level issues switching between tones. I'll try the lead...

Hi I've just purchased a 1980 Mark 2A and have searched far and wide here for mods / upgrades etc but everything seems to relate to the very popular C+. Can anyone assist? Can the A be upgraded to C+? How to fix the noisy reverb? cheers
