Wow !!!! thanks for all the info. One question I have what is the advantage eL34's over the 6L6's or is there none just personal choice. for ref; a pair of matched mesa 6L6's are £46 english pounds. I have read on the forum that the pre amp tubes very rarely need changing. Thanks chris

Put it back to series and 16ohms, completely different sound a lot sweeter. I guess its a loud amp. Is best to control the volume via the masters or the output pot ???. Is it true the masters drive the pre-amp better when they are up Thanks

Thanks for the advice, the G15 is a 30 watt speaker, so if my maths are correct a 60w and a 30w in parallel is 60w (30w + 30w). I am open to advice if I am wrong Thanks
