New to Boogie so hello ev1. The reason for the post is i just upgraded to two MB Dual Rectifiers. One was running an Orange 212 cabinet and the other started off with a Mesa Boogie 112, but also grabbed a Mesa Boogie 212 Blonde thinking I was going to need at least a 212 for bigger stages...

What happened, PLEASE!! I am running into the same midrange tones running the Dual Rectifier. Will be taking it apart to see what speakers are on the bottom. Just from the little i know about speakers and having both closed and open back, closed sounds "tighter". Did closing the Halfback work...
