thank you for your response.... I used the blowdryer as hot as it would go, then started prying and wiggling the face plate with a small flat head screwdriver, slowly but surely it came off.....it was some sort thick 2 sided tape/glue thanks

I have a 3channel mesa dual rec, and I want to remove the front plate, how do you do it? just hit it from behind it? or what?
