It must be something about Mark V's or Mesa Chinese tubes, or both. I read and hear about these problems frequently. I don't use either one and I'm glad these aren't issues with my Mesa amps.

I called Rich today at Mesa referring to my issue of the LOUD popping when I change channels on my DC5B #0591, he said they might be able to fix it, no guarantee they can though. So I'm going to take a chance and gamble, all I will be out is shipping if they can't fix it, but if they do fix it...

I know this amp is 200 watts stereo, if you use just one channel how many watts will it produce? Someone has one and told me it's 400 watts on one channel, is this correct? Thanks

That is still awesome!! Last year the 2 channels were made! First thing I did to mine was change those ugly knurled knobs with chrome pointers, it's really hard to see the settings.
