    Lonestar Special 2x12 overkill?

It's mine. I got it for a little better than that which seems pretty good for new product. I didn't expect it but I did support the store in their 35 years of business and bought a Larrivee and PRS there among other things in recent years. I will miss the mom (that's who sold it to me) and pop...

    Lonestar Special 2x12 overkill?

how much? 25% off, whole store is 10 - 40% off of street, "MAP", regular prices prior to liquidating. The nice stuff is not yet at super deep discounts and is starting to go fast. I the doors will be open for another month. None of the brick and mortar Mesa dealers around here generally...

    Lonestar Special 2x12 overkill?

i have lss 1x12 and i love it! and i find it ample to play in a fairly loud blues-based/classic rock band. it has beautiful cleans; like u, i also really dig the princeton reverb. so, i don't miss having a second spkr; but if u r getting a discounted price (and don't mind the weight), u...

    Changing Tubes in the LSS

i play the lss in clubs in a pretty loud blues based rock band w keys (always too loud!), harp player thru bassman (usually too loud!), bass, and drums (too loud too!) on the 5watt setting most of the time. no problem. sometimes i use 15 watts. i only use 30watts outdoors or if they're really...

Mesa LSS and Fender PRRI comparison (video)

re using prri at gigs: unless it's a very quiet band, it needs to be miked, but then... i used to have a 69 sf pr (still had bf specs and sound) that really sang, and sounded beautiful thru a pa 1/2way up it was sweet cleans; cranked it had very rich touch-sensitive tube and spkr distortion...

Lone Star Reeder Mod #1: Channel 2 Pot-Swap

hi all another question re reeder mod#1: i saw a post that complained that the mod made ch2 master "hair-trigger". this kind of makes sense given that the taper is different. the stock configuration is easy to fine control the volume of ch2. does this fine control get lessened by switching...
