    PRS Singlecut Questions....UPDATE!

I live in Washington state, just outside Seattle. I paid $2900 + $25 shipping for my CU24 20th ann artist package in vintage yellow. They packed it up great and gave me the tracking number. For the amount of business they do their service was great.

    $1000 Budget

I agree with Shnapper. If one grand is the ceiling of your budget a strat would be the way to go. IMO. Versatility, weight, balance, decent sound.... Spend more than a grand and you can get anything you can dream of. I'd say if you spend more than $2000-$2500 on an axe, your spendin because...

    PRS Singlecut Questions....UPDATE!

i bought my Cu24 20th ann artist from Willcutt's and I wouldn't buy a guitar from anywhere else. Most down to earth people working there, very friendly and can answer any question you can think of. Also check out their selection of Private stock PRS' amazing. I asked how they get them, and...

What's the Rig of your dream!

I have 1/2 of it now, but if I could get a stiletto duece with either a 2X12 or 4X12 I'd be done. Effects wise I'll take 3-4 Fulltone's: Fulldrive 2 mosfet, Octafuzz, OCD and when my crybaby dies I'll take a Clyde wah. $2600 away from Zen.

    Carvin CT6 -vs- PRS Singlecut

My friend has a Carvin and loves his. I thought it was alright, but I'm a PRS guy too. The neck and weight of the Carvin was nice, but I like my PRS CU 24 ann . I have to agree that if you are willing spend over a grand get the PRS Singlecut, or a VOS LP 57 or 58. I got my PRS because I kept...

    Pleasant surprise

I've had one problem with GC, and that was last year. I custom ordered a PRS CU24 artist package 20th ann from them. I put down around $1750 and they never ordered it. I found out after 2005 so the anniversary model wasn't available.... Before I could say give me my money back you dumba$$...

Stiletto or Dual Recto... that's the question

I've heard some negatives about the stiletto's, do you think that they're worth the extra coin than a Marshall DSL 100? I already slapped myself for that, but I just need to know.

Stiletto or Dual Recto... that's the question

I'm nickel and diming my way to a new amp, and need some direction. I have a mark III, but want something different as well. I play Santana, Led Zep, Allman BB, Janes Addiction, Deep Purple and a little and I mean little Metal. All of which I plan to play through a 2X12.

    Wood choice for cabinets

If you are looking for sheets of the wood; 1 good luck & 2 you're going to break the bank. I'm splitting my Mk III combo and I'm using bubinga. My neighbor is helping me as well and said it's going to be easy. We looked at some examples on MB's website and he said with out a doubt the wood...

    splitting a combo

I have a 86 Mk III that I am looking at splitting into a head and a 1X12. have any of you out there done it. My neighbor is a custom furniture builder and said we could do it. The wicker screens bought through Mesa run about $150, so I'm going to make them myself. What are the proper...
