    Help with resonance issue.

Thanks for all the ideas. This friend has about 30 years of experience as a player and sound tech. He's baffled so the amp is heading to the tech. Hopefully it's something simple.

    Help with resonance issue.

A friend is about to head out on tour and is having a problem. it's a dual rectifier head through a dual rec cab with vintage 30s. Basically, with the bass, mid and treble all at 12 o' clock, whenever A 440 is palm muted, i.e the open A string or 5th fret on the E string, there's an INSANE...

Lone Star Reeder Mod #1: Channel 2 Pot-Swap

So I did the Reeder Mods 1 and 2 a couple of weeks ago, and then immediately left town for a week so I couldn't check out the amp. I spent a week worrying that I wouldn't like it. 12AT7 in V1 V2?

I'm thinking about putting a couple of MULLARD 12AT7 / CV4024 in the V1 and V2 spots. Has anyone tried this combo? If you were only going to do one, which spot would you pick? I've got a LSC v2. Built in 12/09 with the stock Mesa Tubes. Thanks, Swen

Thanks very much. It took everything I had to fight the urge to get a screwdriver and start screwing it in tight. Dave

    Is this normal??

?I just picked up my new LSC and brought it home. I noticed that just behind the power tubes is a machine screw that sticks out of the chassis about an inch. Is this normal? I've got a picture but can't figure out how to post it. Thanks, Dave
