so you can use the diode at 50 and 100 watts but the vacuum tube only at 50 watts... am i understanding correctly?

I have a question concerning the Roadster's recto tracking. What exactly does the recto tracking setting do? (50 watts = tube rectification, 100 watts = diode rectification?) The manual is kind of ambiguous about it. Thanks! Alex

what is the natural eq curve of the roadster? does it lack mids like many say? if so, what kind of mids does it lack? this is with the stock tubes, not with the el-34s.

How much harder on the tubes is it to use a power soak? Are there any risks associated with them? It seems like getting one would really help me make fuller use of the Roadster, seeing how I only get to realllly crank it at gigs a couple times a month... I just don't want to hurt my baby :)

I thought the Output knob controlled the input to the power section and the Master Volume was more about the preamp?
