    SOLD: 2x12 Mesa RoadReady cabinet

I agree that this board is a great place. In fact I no longer own any Boogie gear thanks to a major issue with an amp being butchered by an authorized repair center during a warranty repair - then getting left in the cold by Rich at Mesa Boogie. But I continue to come here because it is such a...

    SOLD: 2x12 Mesa RoadReady cabinet

Jim I am very sorry to hear about the bad experiences you've had here. And even more sorry to be a part of one. I would like to reiterate that the cabinet was fully functional (and completely intact) when it left here. I realize that doesn't help you any... but I was not trying to pull a sham...

    SOLD: 2x12 Mesa RoadReady cabinet

Jim i've been trying to locate a replacement speaker as I indicated I would, even tho it is evident that this happened due to shipping damage..I had/have no intention of "blowing you off". The pictures I posted here of that cab plainly show the condition the cabinet was in when I shipped it...

SOLD: White Mark IV head, 4.5yr left on warranty

After getting my Dr. Z RS-EX I realize I will likely never play this amp enough to justify keeping it. The amp sounds fantastic, it's just difficult to use full-time now that I mainly play classic country music gigs. The amp has seen very little use. This amp was custom ordered and was bought...

I figured that out just in time to delete a dozen or so to stop the giant Spam-wave that was headed right for Jim

    SOLD: 2x12 Mesa RoadReady cabinet

Note that a forum member asked me for first dibs on this cabinet months ago. Jim if you still want it..here it is :) I will give Jim a day or 2 to respond and let me know if he still wants it before I sell it to anyone else. Up for sale is a Mesa 2x12 RoadReady cabinet. This is basically a...

    SOLD: EVM-12L

I bought this speaker for an amp that I no longer have. Looks to be all original and it works great. This speaker has no functional issues. It has some small white blur place on the cone that I have no idea what it is. It has no impact the sound or structure of the cone. Price is $135...

Which Mesa is best with a Telecaster?

The LSS - it seems like it was made for a Tele.

    Mark IV question

The short head fits nicely onto a thiele cabinet. The long head fits better on a 2x12 or 4x12 cabinet. That's about the only difference I can see between them. I've never compared them to see if the long head has any more controls on the face of the amp as opposed to on the back. If you buy a...

    Connecting a Halfback

Same here. I love the sound of a half-back 2x12 wired @ 16 ohms using the 8 ohm speaker jack on a Mark series amp. To my ears it takes out the harshness of the attack.

    Connecting a Halfback

Connect it to the 8 ohm speaker jack on your Mark III. OR rewire the cabinet to be 4 ohms and connect it to the 4 ohm speaker jack.

    Yes, Another OD Thread!!!

The OCD is great. If you're looking for something with a mid-hump then check out the Fulldrive II. I've never been a big fan of Maxon pedals.

LSS or LSC for Strat & Humbuckers

One thing I would highly recommend is that if you end up trading amps...try to keep that Alnico Gold 8) They sound GREAT in the LSS, especially when they are nicely broken in. My McCarty sounded "Ehh..OK" thru my old LSS, but it sounded much improved when I pulled out the coil tap switch. I...

LSS or LSC for Strat & Humbuckers

My tele's always sounded MUCH better than my PRS thru my LSS. The LSS really seems like it was born to be used with single coils. And conversely...my PRS always sounded better thru the LSC that my bandmate had. But in the end...try the guitar thru both amps and see which one you like better...
