    Rectifier 4 x 12 cabinet.

I have a 5150 that I run through two Marshall 1960A/B cabinets. Sounds great, IMO. I also have a DR with a Recto slant cabinet. I've tried running the DR through the Marshall cabinets and it sounds tighter than the recto cabinet, IMO. I haven't tried running the 5150 through the recto cabinet...

    3 New Pedals From Boogie

Yes, I'm going for "balls to the wall", "always on" but I don't understand the Throttle Box reference. I don't want a "distortion pedal" or a pedal used on a clean channel. I want a pedal that will ultimately REPLACE my TS9 and offer the EQ flexibilty. Again, you reference "gain setting" but...

Does anyone know when these will be available? http://www.mesaboogie.com/Product_Info/pedals/flux-five-pedal.html

    WTT: PRS SE245 w/ Upgrades

More pics ... The only blemish I found on the guitar and I REALLY had to work the lighting just right to get it to show up in a photo. Please email me if you're interested. [email protected]

    Peavey 5150 / Marshall Stack

I'l have to check and get back to you. The cabinets were purchased new by a friend of mine back in the 80's. They look a little rough but they sound incredible.

    WTT: PRS SE245 w/ Upgrades

Now up for sale. $600 (shipped within the continental US) I have way more $$$ invested with upgrades. :(

    Peavey 5150 / Marshall Stack

Peavey 5150 with (2) Marshall 1960A/B Cabinets. There is some tolex wear and tear on the cabinets but in perfect working condition and sound awesome with the 5150. I am the original owner of the 5150 and had the tubes replaced with JJ tubes about a year ago. I've since bought another amp and...

    PRS "factory"

Instruments are not "perfect" and guitars are no exception. If it makes you feel better to buy a cnc guitar, god bless you. Just remember ... humans engineer, design, build, operate, and program machines. The best you can hope for is excellent and consistant quality control. And PRS has the...

    Extreme Feedback from Bridge pickup?

Do the pickups have covers? I'm assuming "shielded in the back" refers the the control cavity?

    NEW Edwards Flying V

Updated Pic. Bought a new pickguard so I could get rid of the ugly pickup rings and not have empty holes. I also wax potted and covered the Seymour Duncans. It just looks more "classy", IMO.

    3 New Pedals From Boogie

Thanks but I'm not sure that answers my question. The same EQ used as an outboard effect could make a difference.

    3 New Pedals From Boogie

I wonder if they're as noisy as a lot of EQ's are known for. I'd love to be able to replace my TS9 with one of those. I wonder if the Flux Five can be used as a clean boost and if it's comparable or better than the TS9. :?:

Mesa/Boogie 5 Band EQ Footage Released!

These new EQ pedals are awesome. I'm so glad I waited and didn't rush out to buy one of the standard Mesa pedals. I'm currently using a TS9 and was thinking about maybe adding an EQ in the loop. Then I saw these new pedals. :D Can I replace my TS9 for a Flux Five or maybe a Throttle Box (EQ...

I wonder if the same applies with the new Throttle Box version EQ. :?:

Mesa/Boogie 5 Band EQ Footage Released!

Sounds good. Any idea when they may be available for sale? And do you guys run EQ's in the effects loop or in front? What are the advantages/disadvantages?

    PRS "factory"

There are slight differences in the carve with the CNC's versus "Dupli-carver". Other differences on the earlier models include a brazilian rosewood fretboard, shorter heel joint, electronics, hardware, logo, etc ... I own an '86 Custom 24 and I consider it a piece of PRS history. I also own...

Mesa pedal to replace my TS9

Would the Throttle Box be a good option to replace the TS9 that's on my board and give me more saturation and "liquid" gain? The TS9 helps but it's just too loose for lagato runs and solos.

    NEW Edwards Flying V

Just received my Edwards Flying V (made in Japan). It compliments my Gibson nicely. Fit and finish is superb and the neck carve is AWESOME. It came with gotoh hardware and seymour duncan pickups (jazz/neck - JB/bridge). Body and neck are made of mahogany and the fretboard is made of...
