Just Played the 10 Watt Class A Lonestar

I did compare it to the 5:50, there was one right next to it I like the 5:50, and the F-50 the Lonestar had a warmer richer clean, but then again it was a 2x12 vs a 1x12 have to spend more time with it, but it has a really nice tone

    LSS vs Express...

Hey hal9000, that is a cool doc, and thanks for the tip is that Mesa Boogie approved, I see it's just putting the pot in the loop, but you never know. Switching tubes voids the warranty....

    LSS vs Express...

the LSS for me, I usually only play mine clean, and slightly overdriven, to get that sustain, you're probably going to need a pedal. I have used the Keeley Java Boost in "trebble screamer" mode, and adds a nice bite but I have not gotten F-50 sustain out of it I spent a little time with the...

it is a great amp, and it is being discontinued for the 5:50 since it is being discontinued, it can be, and is being discounted my local store, and GC's are discounting it. 20% off is no prob which means you can get a new one for about 879.00 Probably won't be around long, one GC near me put 4...

    Played the Express 5:25 & 5:50 Today; Which 1 Get's the

I'm suprised to read this, unless you are referring to the clean channel I too, do not like buckers with the LSS, as a matter of fact, I "only" use strats through my LSS, but it's my favorite strat amp On the other hand, I bought the 5-25 for how it sounds with buckers. it's "much" tighter...
