    More f30 clips

Hello seasonofpain! Well, I had to turn up the input gain on the motu pretty much, as I did not play that loud. If you mean "gain" as in "distortion/overdrive", then it is all from the f30! gain set at 3 oclock on the motu, gain set at 12 o'clock MAXIMUM on the f30. I have never tried the m-box...

    some short F-30 clips

Hi Ken. My recording-chain at these clips goes like this: tele->diff. pedals->F30->sm57->Motu 828mkII->Logic Pro 7 on a powermac g4 dp 1,25 Remember the clips are recorded at VERY low volume, and that the f30 can sound a lot better than it does in these clips! Just haven't got the opportunity to...

    some short F-30 clips

Hi again. Thought the f30 needed some clips. I have recorded a couple at very low volume!! Not very good playing, just some ultra-fast recordings. So don't expect any Steve Vai-ish here!!! Used a sm57 and some pedals (Emma Reezafratzitz, Emma Transmorgrifier, Carl Martin Hydra Boost, Carl...

Help me choose F-30 or F-50.

Congrats on your f-50, barneyc4! I'm sure you will be happy with it, and i'm sure have made the right choice (f-30/f-50). The f-30 is not an amp for large clubs (unless it is mic'ed), and it is not as punchy as the f-50. the f-30 has got more midrange and at loud volume it has not got the...

Can I play a Dual Recto in my bedroom??????

Hi barneyc4; yes it was probably me refering to our homepage www.frangoheep.dk The songs from the "dynamo"-demo (the first 5 songs in the player located to the left of the site) is the f-30 exclusively. (Btw, the last five songs is our first demo, and all guitars was recorded with my (haven't...

Can I play a Dual Recto in my bedroom??????

hi black jakk, and barneyc4 BTW :) I have a single recto and a f-30. Living in an appartment as well. Playing my f-30 home, and the recto at rehearsals and when gigging. The idea of buying a f-50 is not bad! It definitely has got more headroom than the f-30, so i think gigging with it won't be...

    Rectoverb And Strat

@ tele_jas: you play a tele through your rectoverb, you say! Sounds interesting in my ears (eyes...?), cause i'm just wandering around myself these days, and tries to decide between a tele and a strat to put through my single recto! I'm looking at the new 60th anniversary models, think they...

Mesa Boogie F-30 enough clean headroom?

I have also got a f-30. i play with a loud drummer, and did try out the amp in a rehearsal situation a week or two ago. We play loud rock! It could not keep up with him. But ALMOST! Actually I'm wondering the same thing as you; is it loud enough for a small gig-sit!? I haven't tried, but it...

yellow jackets in a single recto, anyone!?

Hi all! Was wondering if any of you have tried using EL84 yellowjackets in your rectos? Was thinking about how it would sound if I pulled out the 6L6's and put some EL84 in it, really get the amp to cook the tubes :-) Has anyone tried!?? B.R. andershoeg
