Are Mk IV's always this mid rangy?

Well, the 750 was dropped below the bottom line but with the highs turned up, it still doesn't have that chime. With the 750 too low,it's almost hollow sounding.

Are Mk IV's always this mid rangy?

Well, I did a A/B test of my Mark IV with the Marshall JCM 900 I barely got. Even I put the 6600 Hz knob barely below the top line and lead treble on 8, the mark IV still sound more mid rangy than the Marshall. Is this true to everyone's MK IV? I have it full power with simul and pentode. On...

Which has more lows, Marshall JCM 900 or Mark IV?

Haha, Is that you???? I've seen all of your videos before on youtube.(it shows up by the demos I posted on youtube). it's quite an interesting idea to slave the marshall with your boogie. I like the sound. Today I went to the rehearsal place and A/B the cab with the Marshall's volume at 8 and...

Which has more lows, Marshall JCM 900 or Mark IV?

That's funny and I do find the lead very pleasing with the SD-1 in front of the JCM 900. I think it must be the speakers. Also, have you compared the mark IV to a DR side by side? I always thought my old DR has more bass.

Which has more lows, Marshall JCM 900 or Mark IV?

Yeah, i played both through the same cab. I do like to keep the lead bass low (only at 2 to 3) and turn up the EQ's low.

Which has more lows, Marshall JCM 900 or Mark IV?

The tubes are 7 months old (Groove tubes). I don't know what's wrong with the mark IV then. Or it might just be the cheap MG cab I played through. Mark IV can't reach its potential on that cheap cab I guess.

Which has more lows, Marshall JCM 900 or Mark IV?

I just got a marshall JCM 900 and dialed it in with a boss SD-1 in the front and find it has tons of lows when cranked. I perceive the same amount of lows as in my mark IV (the 80Hz knob is just below the top line and 240 knob is above the middle). Is this usual? I know usually mesa has more...

When it rains it pours but when it shines!!! WOW!

Have a quick question. Does the IIC+ have 4 speakers outs? Otherwise how did you hook all 4 speakers to the amp?

2 2x12 mesa cabs or just one 4x12 (differences)?

Hi, I'm thinking of trading my 4x12 for 2 mesa 2x12 cabs loaded with v30's. I wonder what are the differences between sound? I do care a lot about that low end (I'm using a mark IV which doesnt give me plenty to begin with.) Will 2 2x12 give me the same as one 4x12? (Isn't there a divider...

The photo is from a poster hanging at Rudy's show room in NYC. Several people have seen it. I don't think it's fabricated by any means or a joke.

    Petrucci playing marshall?

Before I even saw the amp behind him, I heard the tone and was like" what happened? HIs roadking sound so crappy" Then I look behind and find that's a marshall. Mesa totally owns Marshall. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZXfZsyLAd3I
