Mark IV Owners - What cab/speakers are you using?

is the stilletto cab the same thing as a traditional cab? On the price sheet I think I only recall seeing stilletto, recto and roadking cabs.

Mark IV Owners - What cab/speakers are you using?

I think my friend who I bought it from may have stilletto cab. I liked it through that again. I need to find a recto cab to play it through to compare. I really only want a 412 though.

Mark IV Owners - What cab/speakers are you using?

Yeah, I know. It sounds great through the Diezel cab. But 3 heads needs 3 cabs. (I'm going to sell the Uberschall) :)

Mark IV Owners - What cab/speakers are you using?

I recently got a Mark IV. I didn't think I'd keep it long, but it turns out I love it. I'm thinking about picking up a Mesa cab to pair with it. Which is the best choice. I'm open to other cabs and speaker combinations. Right now I'm playing it through a Diezel 412R with v30s or my Bogner...

    Boost for Roadster

Lots of OD808 fans. I've bought and sold 2 of them. I like them alright but I think the Xotic BB Preamp is the best.

    Diezel/Mesa/Bogner...................

I've owned the Herbert, Uberschall, Roadster (twice) and a K-tre. Still have the Herbert (Unlike Inca Roads ) - best all around amp I've ever played. ENGL is a great choice too, if you are a metal player.

    Rivera K-Tre Knucklehead

I had one for a few weeks. Okay amps, but the ENGL SE I had smoked it. Also, check out a Splawn Nitro, it smokes it too. The Rivera's are extremely well built though. Resale value sucks. I paid $1,250 for the 6 month old mint K-tre I had. It took too long to sell at $1,100.

    Bogner Uberschall

I had a love/hate relationship with my Uber when I had it. I recently got a Splawn Nitro and it is everything that the Uber wants to be IMO.

    Roadster differences

That's my Roadster. :D There was a recall on the first 600 or so. If I remember correctly, there was a cap or something that needed to be replaced for fear that it would be problematic in the future. It was a minor fix. My amp was fixed. There is a memo on the Mesa site. Mine does not pop...

    Roadster question- head or combo

I have a mint condition Roadster head (less than 1 year old with 4+years of warranty left) that I may be selling soon. I have lots of references on Harmony Central and ebay. PM or e-mail [email protected] if you are interested.

    3 CHANNEL RECTO ON EBAY

Are you out of your mind. :?: I just sold my single recto on ebay for $925. Surely you can get more than that.

    Roadster

I'd say go for a VHT Ultra-Lead or a VHT Deliverance. The UL is the best amp for lead tones that I've ever played. Low gain stuff is real nice as well. It can do everything from clean to full on metal. Being from Germany - you might give and ENGL SE a try as well. I've never played one, but...

    Roadster

 No. She just waited at home for DHL to deliver it. She tolerates my gear madness though. She just rolls her eyes everytime I buy another amp. In the last year or so I've been through an ENGL Powerball, a Peavey 6505+, a Peavey 6505, a Line 6 Flextone, a Line 6 Vetta, a Line 6 HD147, a...
