    Lonestar - YELLOW JACKET Question

Well....after a lot of reading, as suggested by Mr Reeder.......I think I am going to look at the (EL84) - (6L6) - (6L6) - (EL84) first. From the reading, it seems to be what I'm looking for. So with this Combination, if I get this right it will be as follows: #1 - Tweed Power - 50Watt - Will...

OK.....I had to sell my Lonestar Special.....but I still have my Lonestar. Now the one thing I really liked about my Special was the high end jingle on the clean channel. Now I've been told that if I get Yellow Jackets and run 84's.....that my Lonestar will sound just like the Special. So...

BINGO! .....Thanks man.......i swapped the tubes from 1234 to 2143.....and it works great.......kind of baffling, cause I would have thought that if a bad tube was on the 5W loop.....when I would switch to 15W and use one good tube and one bad one....that I would hear it....but I...

Because I am not a LSS expert, and I don't really know what tube does what......I took both outsides and swapped them over with both insides.......(1234 swapped to 2143).......must have been a bad tube driving the 5Watt selection.....cause it works GREAT now!!!! Which means I...

kmr....thats amazing.....(I am the one who started the other thread).....I thought the exact same thing when the noises started.....I was positive I had a bad guitar cable.......but like you.....I could not get it to repeat when wiggling every inch of the cable.......plus I switched to another...

    Lonestar Special Help needed again!!!

It's not the rectifier.....when that goes out.....you lose 15 and 5 watt settings.....plus that what was wrong 2 months ago. I'm thinking since the 5W only burns one tube......maybe its only one powertube..........only problem with that theory is....when I switch to 15W and it push / pulls thru...
