How do you even out the volume jump?

I bought a 1X12 recently from House Of Guitars in Rochester NY and it was one of the 1st to run off the line...NO TRIM! I took it to my local Mesa repairman who installed the Trim switch (after ordering it of course!) and the problem was fixed for ZERO DOLLARS! If you bought it from a store...

    Pedal Party?

Here s a copy of my post from another thread: I just got a Line 6 M13 Stomp Box Modeler (SIICK!) and I run the 4 Cable method... With the M13 you can assign 1,2,3 or all 4 FX banks to run in front of or in it's loop so... I run the 1st 2 banks of FX in FRONT of the amp (OD's and Filters) and...

    2008 Ibanez Artist AR300 RE-CS Custom Shop

Well... I went and played a Taylor Solidbody (The lighter axe I was gonna get instead of the Ibanez and realized that although this axe weighs about 4lbs more, it's 100 times the instrument. Long story short, I am gonna keep the Ibby. Thanks...and sorry for the "False Start".

    2008 Ibanez Artist AR300 RE-CS Custom Shop

2008 Ibanez Artist AR300 RE-CS This is an AMAZING instrument. Guitar is in Excellent condition. This Artist has the best FLAME TOP I have ever seen on an instrument...it is STUNNING! It does have a bit of pick scratching on it as any guitar with no pick guard would have. Plays wicked fast and...

Love and hate go hand in hand...

If ya don't like tweaking I suggest trying the ElectraDyne. It's almost impossible to get a BAD sound out of that amp and there are only 6 knobs!

    Gigging with the ED

PLayed my 1st gig last night: AMAZING! I spent 90% of my time in 90W Vintage low with the volume at about 2:00 with the trim set to LOW/HI. Even this setting's DIRT is CRYSTAL CLEAR. I also bought a new Line6 M9 to replace my analog pedalboard and that sounded fantastic through the ED as well...

Has anyone replaced their tubes and/or switched to EL34's?

I had 34's in my LSC and will be keeping the stockers in the ED...it just sounds GREAT right out of the box.

    Gigging with the ED

Before I have even gigged I can tell ya this: I just sold my Lonestar Classic to get this amp and in my humble opinion the ED is SOOOO much more LUSH its not even funny! The finest sounding amp I have ever heard! Unreal.

    Gigging with the ED

I have my 1st gig tomorrow...I'll get back to ya!

    Gigging with the ED

I guess what I mean is more about "Modeling". I'm using an ED, therefore I don't want amp models included in the setup.

    Gigging with the ED

Does the GT10 color your amp?

    Clean Level Control... Use it?

So...can anyone shed any light on the ED Clean Level Control? I am still waiting for my new ED to have the Trim switch installed and want to know if anyone uses this to level out the volume changes that occur when switching between Clean/Vinage Low/Vintage Hi. When I played through it at the...

    It's a No Brainer.

    Best Low Volume Clean Tone

I've owned an Express, a Lonestar Classic and I JUST bought an Electra Dyne. ***IF*** you can afford it COMFORTABLY my suggestion is the ED (Followed closely by the LSC and the Express coming in 3rd.) A + for the LSC is it's 10Watt mode which would come in handy in the Low Volume dept.

Sold my LSC and bought an ElectraDyne!

I Like the Cleans of the ED better...and I like the Vintage HI/Low better than Ch2 on the LSC! The LSC is a WORLD CLASS amplifier...that is FOR SURE... but I like the ED even better!!!
