Hey pcos, Yeah it does sound like your v1. Were you able to reproduce it with the new tube in there? As for the reverb, if your v1 is bad, then maybe that's the cause. I've had a couple of probs with my amp. And all of them are due to tubes. I put in new tubes, bingo, back to musical blyss.

Hey Pcos, I don't think that it could be your tubes. Reason I say that is cuz only your V1A (first half of tube) is different between the two channels. Every other tube is used for both. So if your Ch1 is ok, then it might be your v1, but you said that it occurs with the drive off? correct...

Hi Timmerel, I have used a Boss Me-50 in the loop, and I hated it. I couldn't get a decent volume. Even if i dimed the send and receive. Still nothing functional. It worked well infont of the amp, but going thru the loop. No love I sold that in place of a Sniper EQ and delay.

I had the same problem. It is your tubes. Turnes out, that i blew 4 tubes (all v3) once i put in the 5th. Sound again.

Hi Tele_jas I don't have a T-verb, but i have a LSS. I find my asat sounds 100x better than my paul thru the LSS.

Hi All, I was hoping that someone could help me out. I want to change the pre-amp tubes on my LSS, but i'm not sure about the metal coverings. Should i discharge the capacitor before trying to remove these shields, or is that not needed. Do they just slip off, or do i need to un-screw them...

I was playing the paul true the LSS, and it sounded great, but i picked up a ASAT special semi hollow last night. OMFG. I think that this little gem is made for single coils. Don't get me wrong, the paul sound great thru it, but the ASAT sounds fantastic. No comparison.
