Get the III+ mod along with the vol mod done by MB. It's absolutely fantastic.

I'd dial the best sounding clean tone you can get and run an MXR 5150 OD pedal along with a graphic eq post overdrive for your lead.

I think the Super 60s are the sleepers of the bunch. I had an upgraded IIC+ SRG 60w with a pair of 5881's in the sockets that killed. The 100's and Simul's have more low end, but the 60w has this medium power, midrange thing that just works.

I had a IVB years ago that went haywire in the switching dept. Ended up being a short in the foot switch that fried an LDR. Was around $100 to fix back in 2008.

I have a loaded 3+ red stripe head, and it rips. Identical lead tone as my upgraded SRG IIC+ that mike B did too. If you need any more gain, I’d throw a Precision Drive in front and get the benefits of the noise gate vs the ++ mod. IMO

Looks like a black dot 1x12 that someone hacked down to a head format and re-covered. I personally own a Mike B upgraded IIC+ SRG and III+ DRG red stripe with the R2 mod; the tone is 99% identical on the lead channel. I call placebo effect. Lol

I have a basically new factory blackface Mini Rec 25 with red led lighting. Includes the bag, cable, foot switch, manual, etc. Low hours on tubes. Also selling my Road Ready 1x12 Thiele cab. Loaded with an EV12L @ 8ohm. This cab kills and is kinda difficult to find. $1150 for the pair / PayPal...

If you're playing blues and classic rock, I would suggest the Lone Star as a viable option. They sound great with pedals too.
