Just my opinion: 1)You will never find a Mark IV channel 3 on a Mark 5. I just sold a Mark IV and am now rebuying one. The V is long gone. 2)FINDING A MARSHALL TONE ON ANY MARK AMP IS A MYTH!! No offense. End the argument, go buy/rent a DSL, TSL or something and compare. It's not there...

Kill me if you will. Borrow an all tube Marshall if possible. See if it's the direction you are going before spending any money or time modifying a Mesa.

What mode are you in Mark 2c Mark IV or Extreme

No doubt has been done to death, but since I sold my IV i have really regretted it. Is there some one out there that has or has had these two amps that has perhaps duplicated the M4 lead channel on a V? I basically need to know 1) How would one duplicate "Pull Fat" on lead gain...or if it is...
