FS/FT Dual Rectifier Road King II V.2 2,300.00

Hey there! Selling my 2007 Mesa Road King with all paperwork, including hand tags, manuals, price list (up to February 2007), slip covers and JJ tubes. Bought it myself new from Sunset Blvd. I'm willing to trade for a Mark V. I'm from Mexico, but will ship anywhere.

    recording direct with mark iv

Hey there. I recommend using a balanced cable. The "rule" says to use a balance cord for more than 1m (I think), if it's less, an unbalanced cord will work fine. But don't get troubles, get a balanced one!

    Isolating my roadster

Careful with the wrapping thing. It will affect the frecuency response of the mic. It will cut all the highs, mid highs and probably the mids of the guitar, and remember that the natural sound of it like clarity and attack live in that range.

    Isolating my roadster

Try putting some heavy blankets over the amp and mic. Also remember to crank your amplifier.

Would a Marshall tone from a DSL100 sound good with...

If you mean doubling the guitar with different amp, it's alright! As far as I know, the porpouse of doubling guitars is getting a different performance, and with different amp it would sound great! But you can go crazy and use a splitter to drive both amps at the same time, then double the...

Having trouble getting a good heavy guitar sound

There are many things that don't help you getting the sound you want. You need and interface and a AD convertor other than the ones in your computer. There are no comparison between that convertors and an apogee of 4,000 bucks! But try a graphic EQ, it helps a lot! If you can get one phisycal...

Beta SM57A on Rectifier 2x12 with Mesa Mark V

As far as I know, the only differences between the 57 and the beta57 are the capsule and that all the beta series have better internal components. Try using a senheiser MD-421. Very nice and dark mic. Blend it with the 57 and there you get it. Not a cheap mic though. Regarding the mic...

    Advice On Recording Ambient Sounds

Try getting a shotgun microphone. They are use to capture that kind of sounds. You maybe have seen them in football games. But, they are expensive as far as I know.

    Mark IV widebody combo questions

Hey there! I've got a Mesa boogie mark IVB but it does not come with the cooling fan neither the reverb tank. I don't see any space in the cab for them, so, are they missing or widebodies does not include this both things? Thanks in advance.

    Help needed w/ home recording

Glad it helped! The drums are very difficult to record, not only because of positioning mics and phase problems, the real problem comes within the drum quality and the musician! Try to use at least 3 mic, but I recommend 8, but I know that nearly no one has 8 mics in house! Any doubt you get...
