    Triple Recto cutting out

Will do, that sounds perfectly logical. With no technical expertise, sometimes I'm a little shy about tinkering with such a complicated device, but checking the tubes should be a no-brainer. I guess unusual flashes would be a good sign that it's time for fresh tubes...

    Triple Recto cutting out

That'll be my next test I guess. It could just need new tubes. These are still the originals and I've had it for four years now. Thanks man.

    Triple Recto cutting out

Hi, I'm not sure how to describe this (which may be why I was unable to find a thread on this topic). My Triple Recto suddenly, out of the blue, started making really ugly static sounds on the red and orange channels. I mean, it just started doing it SUDDENLY. On raw, it isn't as bad, then on...

I'm new - just introducing myself

Who (or what) is Seosoft? Whatever it is, I assure you I have nothing to do with it. I'm just a guy with a bedroom studio full of guitars and amps. Playing guitar is my hobby and has been for 16 years.

Thanks Neptical!! I like learning and discussing with fellow Boogie owners. Wish I had even more Boogie amps.

I can honestly say that this is the first time I have ever received a death threat on a music gear forum.

    The Rectifier FAQ Thread

I think I might be one of the newbies that fluff had in mind when making the general reference thread, and for that I thank him. I've had my Triple Recto for about 3.5 years now. There have been times I almost gave up. It is a veritable laboratory of different tones and sounds.

What's up JC? I'm not sure what happened to the link, maybe I accidentally deleted it.... Here it is http://www.tonymckenzie.com/ I found this web page in the same google search that helped me find The Boogie Board. This Tony McKenzie guy has some really good ideas about how to use the...

    F-50 vs Express 5:50

A guy at GC told me that the F50 and the Express 5:50 are virtually the same amp, spec by spec. But I'd never part with my F50. It sounds so amazing... I'm in love with it.

    The Rectifier FAQ Thread

Great basic info here. The only thing I would add is that you can easily get bedroom volume out of a Triple Recto with an attenuator. I use a THD Hotplate, which is a wonderful device, then run it through a Hughes & Kettner Red Box. This allows me to use my Triple Recto in my bedroom...

I'm new - just introducing myself

Hi everyone, I'm new here. I changed this post to just be an introduction of myself. I own a Triple Recto and an F-50. Between the two of them, I can get a huge amount of sounds. I've been playing guitar for 16 years. Looking forward to learning from my fellow guitar enthusiasts on this...
