My Studio Pre is particular about settings and tubes. If it's fuzzy, here are some suggestions that may help you out: 1) put a 5751s in V1, V2, and V3 to tame the gain 2) dial down the lead drive and volume 3) turn the EQ off 4) try some different pickups Rock on, Scott

The Mesa amps I've had have responded well to NOS tubes. 8)

The cheapest power amp I've seen with tube rectifiers is sold by Frenzel Amps in Texas. I've seen a couple boutique power amps with tube rectifiers from some boutique shops but they were out of my price range. Never heard of tube rectifiers on any mass-produced guitar power amp. An alternative...

Replaced the Area with an Area 67 and haven't looked back. lol Those Injectors are some amazing pickups!

I owned a Mesa 295 for a while. It was a great power amp. I liked it better than the 50/50 I used to play through. The 295 had more flavor to it. lol I'm still playing through my custom power amp. I let my GAS chill out and finally been focusing on making music.

I got rid of the TA-15. Missed it and picked another one up a while back but had to part with it for $ reasons. It's a great little amp for sure. One of my favorite Mesas.
