thinkin about the AXE FX again.......

I find it amusing that virtually all the folks making such comments are folks that have spent little or no time at all with the Axe-Fx. If they did these type of comments would cease. It is quite simply a new standard in guitar amp/efx technologies and it's going to take time to convince the...

    Gforce or axe-fx ultra

Most of my 20 or so amps are tube amps but now that I have an Axe-Fx Ultra they're all going to be sold, as well as a bunch of cabs & a slew of efx pedals & processors. They are now (IMO) useless. As for the person in another thread that stated that the Axe-Fx has a "digital fizzy" sound, I...

All wireless users must read this

I've been using the Line 6 Relay G30 for several months now and it's been flawless. No drop outs, fading, noise, or crackling. And it's easy to switch guitars without the thump you get when unplugging the cable like you get when using a regular cable. You simply switch off the transmitter pack...

axe-fx/axe-fx ultra or mesa boogie mark v amplifier

I've had a Mark IV for about ten years now, and although it's my favorite tube amp it's been sitting idle lately because I recently got an Axe-Fx Ultra. I now have a whole slew of amps & cabs I'll be selling in the near future (possibly even the Mark IV) because this thing is just crazy good...

Power adapter for Triaxis phantom power

My GC Pro came with an adapter, it's 9VAC-500ma.

All wireless users must read this

It doesn't affect newer units like the the Line 6 Relay series though, that's why I use a Line 6 Relay G30. They use the 2.4 gigahertz band so there is no clashing with any other frequencies and they're a big improvment in sound quality over any unit I've had previously. Very reasonably priced...

    Slave out question

I understand now, it's you alone who decides who posts and who doesn't. Strange I missed that in the forum rules.

    Slave out question

I wasn't being an dick, I asked a legitimate question because I don't have the time or inclination to download and read a manual for an amp I don't even own. I thought I'd ask instead, because after all isn't that what this place is all about? And I disagree about the dummy load, it sounds just...

    Slave out question

Just curious shouldn't that be pre-amp out/power-amp in, otherwise known as an efx loop.

    Slave out question

Not true if you use a speaker load. I use a Hot Plate set to load for just this purpose.

Recording Out & Slave Out playing at same time?

If your asking if it's ok to use both outs at the same time yes you can. I use the Recording out to feed a tuner and the Slave out to feed my stereo efx which then go to a SS stereo poweramp in a W/D/W setup, works great.

    Half power 101

It really is a shame if that's the dictionary this generation relies on. Just because it's in print doesn't make it a fact. They called the last generation-gen x, what's this generation-gen lazy. :P

    Half power 101

Just curious, what language is that? I can't find it in my dictionary.

Does anyone run their C+ Combo in the 4 Ohm input?

That's an output not an input. To answer your question to get the best sound you should simply use the output that matches the impedence of your cab, period.

    Running two combos together?

I use a Voodoo Labs Amp Selector. Great unit, dead quiet, & does everything an amp switcher should. See it here: http://www.voodoolab.com/ampselector.htm
