    Vintage Original Prices

I have a MKIIB with reverb, an EV speaker and the 60/100 switch, and paid about $1200 in 1980.

    Who Needs Pedals

I use pedals for modulation in the effects loop of my MKIIB+. An OD on the front end for a little more snap.

Best pedals to improve the Mark series overdrive tone

I have a MKIIB and I run a TS9 or a VHT VDrive on the clean channel for a little more snap. It gives me the option of pushing it up, if so desired. All my modulation pedals are in the effects loop.

What Pedals are You Running for Your MKIIB?

My MKIIB has been SimulClassed and I run modulation pedals except for a TS9 to give my clean channel a little more snap. I was running my pedalboard through the effects loop, but it sounded strange to me. Running a delay, reverb, chorus, tremolo, and OD in the front end, and a BBE Sonic Stomp...

My Hamer Special. Had to downsize the collection, and it was the Hamer or the Parker Fly Classic. I kept the Parker.

Brown Box. Anyone using this for older MK Boogies

Been doing some research on The Brown Box, concerning the right voltage for my 1980 MkIIB. Any one using one of these? They are about $350.

Who is Still Gigging Their Vintage Mark Series Amps?

My MarkIIB has been my #1 stage amp for more than 40 years. It's been Simul Classed.

Help! Is my Mark IIb Simul-class or not?

I believe some of the later Mark IIB's were Simul Class, but I'm not sure when. I have a Mark IIB, with the 60/100 switch. I had it Simul Classed by Mr. Mike Bendinelli at Mesa Boogie. Now my amp is 15W Class A, and 60w Class AB. I have an Electro Voice speaker, and a cab with a Cannaibis Rex...
