Actually, a little later, I unplugged and replugged everything and now have volume control on the amp knob. I was pretty sure I remembered it working that way. I'm running a G-System on a 4 cable setup. Works great now, though it definitely takes some time to get gain structure set up right...

I use a G-System in the effects loop of my Mark III and was just reading that they recommend using Balanced TRS cables to connect the G-System to the amp Does that work with the Mark III's front jack and effects loop ins and outs? Thanks Russell
