I'm just wondering if anyone would be interested in my Mesa Boogie Nomad 100. Retubed in the winter with JJ 6l6s and a Shaguang in v1 of the preamp. Great condition, not a scratch on it. I'd think of letting it go for 700-800. I also have a cab that I bought with it that'll ship, you pay full...
Mesa Boogie Nomad 100? It has a footswitch (without the eq button though - it's a nomad 55 switch), it was retubed in the late summer - It has a quad of JJ 6l6s with a Shaguang Silver Dragon in V1. In perfect condition, no rips no tears - a little dusty but I'll clean that up.
I'm selling this...
+1 to all things said here. As you can tell by my name I love Nomads. One of my tubes blew a while ago and I've been trying to find the time to take it to the shop.....for about a month.
anyway. I love the channel 2 and channel 1. You just give the knobs some lovin' and carress them...
you could just sit down and screw around for an hour or so just finding a bunch of nice tones and writing them down. that's what i did and i got some awesome one's. i should probably find that packet
also try the manual settings on mesa's website
i was thinking about trying out the sed winged c's el34's. the sd forum says they're really good. i just haven't cared enough to try them out. i might do that next. also some tung sol 12ax7a reissues were reccomended with the SED's. i'm excited
