It wouldn't work, the amount of mass you'd be adding would make the cab resonate very differently. If you just want to reduce the amount of low end resonance, you could try to install a baffle in the middle from two pieces of plywood and a piece of mattress foam between them making it basically...

Sorry for the late reply, I don't wander into this forum very often. Yeah, we used 4 different Kemper profiles I made of the Rackto, all boosted with a Maxon OD9, red channel with diodes, through a Matamp 2x12 and a V30. Mics were SM57 and a Beyerdynamic i50D through a Great River pre.

I have some experience with the Celestion Century and Century Vintage. The Centurys sounded really smooth but very thin. No low end at all, sounded great for fluid leads though. The CV's sounded sort of similar to V30's but with less breakup/dryer. Here's an old demo of my old band I recorded...
