    EQ into TC50

EQ2 user here aswell, best eq on the market by a long shot. I was able to use pre and post eq and shape the tc50 into a very convincing british crunch, tweed and twin just using the clean channel, being able to choose freq and q is a godsend. Prob the most used pedal on my board and melts well...

Mud in the red channel - stock tubes.

I get exactly what you describe, i assumed the amp is voiced more for rock than metal so gave up dialing as it just never worked out, loads of hair and mush which can work for sizzling metal but for tight rhythm metal tones its just too mushy, i tried an eq in the loop and while i could get a...

What fuzzies do you like with the tc50

Just curious what fuzz pedals you guys are finding fun with the TC50, I traded in my stiletto for the TC50 and found the Hoof Fuzz does ok but not as nice as with the stiletto... and fuzz face build doesnt sound so hot with the TC50 nor does my Red Russian... Not at all like they did with the...

TC-50 (EL34) - LO channel shrill high end at low/med gain

I havent really found i cant dial out the treble, i use buckers though... I set mine between 10 and 1 Oclock depending on the pickups. Sometimes i s0lit the coils and dial back the tone on the guitar but i cant see how i wouldnt be able to pull back the treble more on the amp if i needed to...

Clean channel tight - Fast becoming my fav channel

Ive been digging the green with the tight switch activated, it really has a nice dynamic range... In a band situation its juat superb. At first i stuck with the switch on low gain but lately i cant get enough of the higher gain setting, it cuts without being too shrill and the eq controls are...

    I love this blue channel.

Its def. An extremely musical and versatile channel, ive been using it for tool covers and with the volume knob on the guitar it covers the clean and crunch tones perfectly, but also with lower gain settings it shines for some crunchy blues and SRV tones. The amp takes a little bit to get use...

Im experiencing some trouble with my EQ pedal out front

Otherwise i have to say its a sweeet amp, the versatility and tone in all channels is a thing of beauty. So much so i almostdont want to take her back in case it has to be replaced... I am in love with my TC50 :) Even my staffy seems to sing along with me, she walked up the stairs and started...

Im experiencing some trouble with my EQ pedal out front

Oddly enough it happened again without the EQ pedal, power the amp off and on and its back to normal, only happens once in a blue moon which is annoying... Makes it hard to show the Mesa amp tech hete in Oz Ill make a video next time it happens, id hate for it to get more frequent and bug out...

Help needed with FX loop tone suck!

I only notice it when long cables are used, i threw a buffer right after the send using a shrot cable, the buffer sits on the amp then feeds the signal to my pedals via a 15ft cable. No tone suck at all. It would have been nice to have a buffer built in the loop send maybe but it is what it is...

Im experiencing some trouble with my EQ pedal out front

This is with no midi cable plugged in at all, i have not quite gotten to setting up midi with my Source Audio Eq or Boss ES8 with this head yet. . It is very odd, sometimes it even seems to effect the Mesa fiitswitch and causes it to not work at all. I hope its just the pedal amp relationship...

Reverb "adds" an e.q on the channel

Your deefinately not alone, the sound becomes quite noticably darker to me as well, so i just use my neunaber wet stereo reverb instead. Once i set up the Boss ES8 im hoping i can add mids and bring bach the brightness by engaging the EQ pedal in the loopas i engage the mesa tc50 reverb, but i...

Im experiencing some trouble with my EQ pedal out front

Well it def diesnt seem to get along with the source audo EQ out front but sits well in the loop, strange, ive never had an amp that wont take to pedals out front, but my TC50 definately doesnt play nice with this EQ pedal... Shame as i like to have one EQ out front pulling lows and one in the...

Im experiencing some trouble with my EQ pedal out front

Im not too sure if this is just my Source Audio Eq pedal being out front or the amp itself yet but sometimes when i use the tc50 it misbehaves, once when i fired it up there was a strange buzz in the distance, then i tried to change chanels and it wouldnt do so using the tc50 footswitch, if i...
