One thing about these amps is that the jacks can build up some corrosion, mostly the ones you don't use. Sounds like snake oil but: take an old 1/4 inch cable, soak the jack with detoxit. plug, spin and unplug in each jack socket, wipe off the jack and re do it until the jack comes out clean...

Ditto on cleaning the jacks. I guess the switches inside cause some issues. Mine were the fx jacks that fixed it. but all the jacks get some maintenance ever since. Hope it helps Mac

I forgot to mention that cleaning out the jacks is also very important. I think there may be some switches in the loop jacks that can cause issues. I spray then plug and unplug a patch cable and twist several times. I don't really know why but that has fixed a few strange problems too. Over all...

try spraying out the pots with contact cleaner. I have had similar problems and was gonna replace some pots when I tried this and it worked great. I use DeoxIT.
