    Mark VII in country music

Those amps in your reply would certainly do modern country and they could do old school too. Not into the current rap/ pop/ bubblegum top 40 tweener sampled country stuff. I've shared the big stage with many headliners from the 90s,early 00 yrs. I've never seen 1 boogie except Charlie...

    Mark VII in country music

So your ch 1 & 2 are in crunch mode? I do know mkiib mode is getting some attention from country players.Doug West alludes to it too in his interview. One of the bands I'm in does modern country and the other guitar player got a vii.we like iib mode for sure, but we're trying to get the amp...

NAD: Mesa Boogie Mark VII head. WOW

Great overviews! I'm getting ready to buy a vii and/ or a jp2c too.For all you out there that own or owned both; how are the " in between " sounds of each? Ie: mid or lower gain, chimey, sparkly, jangly tones? I'm a shredder head all day long and i love the high gain tones of my iic+, &...

NAD: Mesa Boogie Mark VII head. WOW

^^^^^ I'm a big fan of running two amp heads and cabs together. If I'm running 2 of the same heads I purposely set them a bit different so they tonally compliment each other in a mix. My question is: on 2 mkvii's, are you going to run same tubes on both or different tubes( or colors)?

Any Interest in a Custom Amp Switcher?

^^^^ I have no idea on cost.I wish I did.I saw this and was too late, they were already closed.I wanted one of these so bad.I ended up using Bradshaw's, but I would've easily bought one of these.

Any Interest in a Custom Amp Switcher?

Isolation and grounds are always big issues in these, even phase sometimes. Here's this other company ( no longer in oper.) that was making an improved version of the mesa.I liked what I saw there.

Any Interest in a Custom Amp Switcher?

O.p. Yours actually does a lot more than my ol discontinued mesa amp switcher..( which it's title was always a bit misleading). And at least on my version,I never liked if you didn't have at 1 input selected, you had no pass thru sound at all. There was a company some years ago that was taking...

Best pedals to improve the Mark series overdrive tone

I'll probably open a hornets nest, but having owned almost every boogie since the iib,I cannot fathom or remotely imagine an overdrive or dist pedal into a high gain boogie,or specifically into a high gain ch.that's already set crazy high,- other than say into thier clean chnls.I use my marshall...
