I heard a clip of someone playing with his Mesa gear over a Frank Gambale backing track and was wondering if anyone knew where to find this backing track? Supposedly it's "the one that's been played over a lot on HCAF"

The 4100 has a beautiful high-gain Thud that the Mesa's just don't have. But then the 4100 can't do the Justice-type of sound, while the Mk4 nails it pretty easily. It's comparing apples and oranges

Mike is right amp price increases are due mostly to increases in materials cost, particularly copper, steel, iron (transformer core), wood, leather a lot of the metals are imported from certain countries that do not evaluate the dollar very well (in other words, the price goes up)
