Need a "Solo" Boost for my two Channel Dual Rec. H

Just checked out a video of Scott Henderson explaining his uses for various pedals: RC Boost, AC Boost and the BB Preamp. In the demo he explains how using the RC Boost with the BB Preamp gives that added loudness to lines that nned to stand out. http://www.prosoundcommunications.com/english/...

    BOSS strikes again

Read my reply at HRI... I'm just passing on info that may be of some use to some people. And although I am thorough in my post with a description of an item, I do not represent BOSS/Roland. I just love their products. Assuming you are a Boogie consumer and you also announce a new product from...

    BOSS strikes again

These guys have a new product that will, depending on the price, be awesome for musicians, bands, etc. BOSS Micro BR Meet the ultimate palmtop recording studio. Only slightly larger than an iPod, the tiny-yet-powerful Micro BR is dream for musicians on the go. The Micro BR offers four...

    Played Carvin CT-4

I've had a DC127T for almost 10 years. It has been, hands down, THE best guitar I have ever played. Everything about the Carvins are first class. The only thing I had to replace were worn out frets. The action, neck, playability, craftmanship is worthy of a guitar that can easily command twice...

Roland Cube 60 is NO joke!!!!

As I have stated at the start of this tread, this amp is a sure fire keeper. I have been using the Cube 60 exclusively for gigs and I couldn't be more happy. Now if one can build a 3 button pedal box that can toggle the effects, channels, instead of using 3 separate pedals. AWESOME!!!!

Acoustic through the clean of Mark IV?

Electric guitar amps just do not have the wider frequency response required for acoustic guitar. I tried once going through possibly the cleanest amp around, JC120, and it sounded so shrill, with no life. Your Yamaha preamp is an outboard device, right? Have you considered a DI box[/i]

    I got a MAC!

A wise and sound investment. I've been a mac man for a awhile and they are solid. Solid OS. Solid hardware. Solid and pain free. You pay more but your mac has a long life. There are many great apps for the mac. Let me know what you might be interested in and I'll see what I can do.

    Extension speaker question regarding wattage

I have the Roland Cube 60 and you can connect this to an external speaker. The speaker I have is a 2X12 cabinet with a max wattage of 150. The Cube says that the external speaker should be 60W max. Would this cause any problems to the amp and/or cabinet?

Roland Cube 60 is NO joke!!!!

I had my first opportunity to use this bad boy at a medium size NYC venue. The lineup is: drummer, percussionist, bassist, 2 guitarist (I play lead), 1 backup vocal, and 1 lead vocal. We play original latin rock. I just ran my GT5 into the main in of amp (I usually don't do this due to lack of...

    Anyone use a Piezo system?

I have a Godin LGX-SA and the acoustic sound is not that great. You can still tell it's not an acoustic guitar. I run it through a PA. It's a bit on the thin side. But it works for live work.

what pedal to use for leads?

You may want to try the Boss GE-7 EQ Pedal. You can set it to boost your mid frequencies and overall level so that your leads cut through.

Help with the dual rec fx switch please...

I assume you mean the F/X Loop knob in the back of the amp? Well you can pretty much choose if you want to have the Loop active all the time, with certain channel selects, or bypass, etc. Look in the back and refer to the manual.
