axess cfx4 midi channel switcher + cable for triple rec

Hi, Since I sold my triple rec last year I have no use for my axess cfx4. I used to change amp channels over midi from my multi-effects board. It's in great condition 9/10 and comes with the custom cable to the amp din socket. £100 Mail if you want some pics. Thanks John

    Gibson Explorer

I'm really digging those explorers If they did one with a trem I'd buy it instantly. The trad exploter shape just looks so much cooler than the modern equivalents from Dean and Jackson. (nice that they are)

    Burstbucker Pros or Emgs

I love the sound of the burstbuckers in my LP standard. but EMG has a very different sound - you might want to look for some clips and compare them to see which you prefer - I think EMGs sound more processed but I'd like to have another LP with them fitted to give me the options. Cheers JOhn

    Triple rec loop issue!!!!!!!!!

Hi, My first thought was the V4 valve - but if you've changed this and are confident about hte new valve then I guess something else is at fault. Next thing I would look at is the cables your connecting to the loop. Aside from that I guess you'll have to take it to a tech for a once over...

    FS: 50/50 power amp (UK)

Hi, Since switched from using a rack to a triple rec I don't really need this anymore. A few marks from being racked but good working order. Let me know if you want to come and try it or see any pics etc £350 sound reasonable. Cheers John

    Cab comparison!!!

In the UK Marshall cabs are very cheap compared the mesa - especially used. Plus I suspect there are a lot of players who'll get a marshall half stack or a rack setup with a marshall stereo cab that move over to a mesa head. I'm using a marshall cab and it sounds great with my triple rec, but...

    50/50--Running One Side Only?

Hi, The same applies to the 50/50 - just turn down that side and have nothing connected to it - a very handy feature! (of course the real solution is to have a mono/stereo cab so you can use a mono head or stereo power amp and have max power anytiem you like  ) Cheers John

triple rec - am I ok run it without rectifer tubes?

Thanks Jab, I'm sure I've read that it's ok - but I thought I'd double check rather than risk doing any damage. Now to find a cheap supplier in the UK - I'm tempted to replace the power tubes while I'm at it but there's a lot of them so it might have to wait til after christmas. Cheers John

triple rec - am I ok run it without rectifer tubes?

Hi, My triple rec arrived today but the rectifier tubes are missing - the seller "forgot" to mention that bit. While I wait for new ones am I ok to just switch the amp to diode and use it ok? Thanks John

Mesa Dual Recto 3 Channel + G Major

Hi, I've just bought a triple rec and plan to control it and my fx via midi. I believe the axess electronics cfx4 will allow you to connect the channel switching to your midi pedal. I just need to confirm that it's the only product that will do this and that it will allow me to assign midi...
